JOB ADVERT JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Sales Representative Glass Industry: Glass, Ceramics & Concrete Location: Douala, Cameroon JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a proactive, results-driven, and highly organized Glass Sales Representative to join our team. This ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of glass products, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resilient under pressure, and dedicated to achieving and exceeding sales targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Glass Sales Representative will be responsible for the following: 1. Sales and Business Development Proactively prospect, identify, and acquire new clients including construction firms, contractors, architects, and individual homeowners. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new market segments and increase market share. Conduct persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. 2. Customer Relationship and Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Provide expert technical advice on glass types, specifications (e.g., thickness, safety ratings, thermal properties), and appropriate applications. Handle and resolve customer complaints and after-sales issues promptly and professionally. 3. Order Processing and Operational Coordination Accurately process customer orders from quotation to delivery. Collaborate with production, logistics, and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including contract negotiation, pricing agreements, and payment follow-up. 4. Market Intelligence and Strategy Conduct ongoing market research to monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry trends. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and new product development. Submit regular sales reports and market analyses to management with actionable recommendations. REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience Min Advanced level degree.
