In 5 years’ time, we have deployed our products across fifteen countries; mostly in Africa and South-East Asia. Your LocationThis position is only open to candidates based in Cameroon. It is subject to project approval and has an expected start date at the beginning of Q4.Your role We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices and published in the Play Store apps dedicated to patients and health centers. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.Responsibilities Design and develop native mobile applications for Android Assist in the scoping, estimating, and planning of projects Integrate mobile apps with RESTful web services Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Work on bug fixing and improving application performance Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Collaborate with Dev Team members using Jira, Bitbucket, and Microsoft Teams Coach and mentor team members on …
